Join us this December for CT-R for Schizophrenia and Serious Mental Health Conditions, an interactive virtual workshop designed to help you promote wellness and recovery for individuals living with serious mental health conditions.
Watch along as Center for Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy (CT-R) Director Dr. Paul Grant shares details about this exciting opportunity to build your professional skills and confidence with direct guidance from the team that developed this modality alongside Dr. Aaron T. Beck.
Led by Francesca Lewis-Hatheway, PsyD, and Lindsey Pinto, LSW, this two-day training will provide an in-depth understanding of CT-R and practical strategies you can apply within your professional role and scope of practice.
You’ll learn how to collaboratively empower individuals to live meaningful lives in their chosen communities by identifying values and aspirations, accessing adaptive modes of living, taking daily action toward purpose, and building resilience in the face of behavioral, social, and other challenges.
The workshop will also explore effective ways to conceptualize and address challenges such as negative symptoms, grand and expansive beliefs, persecutory beliefs, hallucinations, self-injury, and aggression. In addition, you’ll learn how to apply CT-R principles to clinical programming and use Recovery Mapping to strengthen treatment planning and communication within and between teams.
Seats are still available but time to register is running out. Learn more about this workshop and save your space today!
