Investing in the futureĀ of CBT.
An important part of our non-profit mission is improving the quality of CBT that is provided to people worldwide.
We are focusing this day of giving on our scholarship program for students and clinicians (including those who work with the military, veterans and their families) so they can participate in our training programs.
Here are two examples of clinicians who have benefited from CBT training at Beck Institute:
A social worker and sign language interpreter from New York provides individual treatment to adults and adolescents in the hearing-impaired community.
A therapist, an Army veteran working for the Department of Defense, treats soldiers with chronic suicidality, depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
Neither of these participants would have been able to enroll in our training programs without scholarships. In fact, we provided nearly 300 scholarships this year to graduate students and mental health professionals in all disciplines.
Your donation will allow us to continue granting scholarships and offering treatment to patients in the Philadelphia area who otherwise couldn’t afford the expert level of psychotherapy we provide.
Please support our work at the Beck Institute by making a contribution today.
Sincerely,
Judith S. Beck, Ph.D.
