BALA CYNWYD, PA – Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy (BI) announced today the organization’s rebranding, reflecting efforts to increase clarity around its mission, priorities and programs. Since 1994, the nonprofit has been recognized as the leading international source for training and resources in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), the most highly researched and widely adopted psychotherapy in the world. Over the past five years, Beck Institute has experienced exponential growth and drawn in an expanded audience, while providing a new and exciting range of offerings in service of its mission of improving lives worldwide through excellence and innovation in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy.
“As our world and our country have faced growing mental health challenges, the need for consistency and clarity in our messaging has never been greater,” said Lisa Muchnick Pote, MSW, Beck Institute’s Executive Director. “Our online training, launched in 2016, has reached health and mental health professionals in 118 countries and counting. With the addition of the Beck Institute Center for Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy in 2019, we are now training providers in community mental health, state hospitals and forensic settings. As we expect to reach an even broader range of professionals moving forward, there is a need to highlight the breadth and depth of Beck Institute’s programmatic offerings within the framework of a clear and unifying brand.”
The branding changes include an updated logo; a refresh of its brand colors to reflect BI’s commitment to improving mental health and wellbeing and its organizational values of compassion, dedication and respect; and expanded mission, vision and position statements to clarify its purpose. The rebranding reflects the diverse perspectives of Beck Institute’s community.
“Beck Institute is constantly evolving to better serve the needs of health and mental health organizations and providers and the clients they serve,” said Judith S. Beck, PhD, Beck Institute’s President. “We are excited that our updated branding and messaging reflect that evolution and position us to continue to make an impact both locally and globally.”
