Dr. Teerakiat Jareonsettasin was senior consultant child psychiatrist at CAMHS, Colchester and honorary senior lecturer and consultant at Royal Free Hospital, University of London, UK. He is a highly experienced clinician using CBT for a wide range of psychological disorders especially OCD and Phobia. He is the first Thai Beck Supervisor who opens up opportunities for Thai therapists to access high – quality training in Beckian CBT by using mother-tongue language. In addition, he is renowned for experiential CBT teaching and being one of the most influential teachers to disseminate CBT and make it popular among Thai psychiatrists and psychologists. He also adopts CBT principles and skills as his second nature into other areas of work. He has become an inspiring role model clinician and teacher for his students.
