Dr. Betsy Feinberg is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Director of the Center for Emotional Health’s FamilyCare Center. Dr. Feinberg received her Doctoral and Master’s Degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and her Master of Science in Education in Psychological Services and school counselor certifications from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Feinberg is a Beck Institute Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Clinician (BICBT-CC), a distinguished achievement demonstrating her commitment to the evidence-based treatment of children, adolescents, and adults.

Dr. Feinberg completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine, in the Aaron T. Beck Psychopathology Research Center. Under the direct mentorship of Dr. Aaron T. Beck, she was the primary Fellow providing intensive Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) training and consultation to mental health treatment centers and schools. She has extensive expertise in evaluating the quality of CBT therapy sessions.

Dr. Feinberg also received her formative training at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s (CHOP), Center for Management of ADHD, Community Schools Programs, and Cardiology Departments. She is experienced in evaluating and treating ADHD and psychoeducational needs and supporting patients with medical complexities. Holding NJ and PA school counselor certifications, Dr. Feinberg has also worked intensively with children and families in elementary through high schools. She also received training in the Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) Program. She takes pleasure in working with children, adolescents, and adults, with specialties in anxiety disorders, school-based challenges, coping with chronic medical conditions, and parenting.
