Amy Cunningham is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in the treatment of borderline personality disorder and suicide prevention. She works with Dr. Aaron Beck at the Aaron T. Beck Psychopathology Research Center at the University of Pennsylvania, where she provides intensive training in CBT to the therapists that serve Veterans who experience chronic homelessness. She is also a speaker for the Beck Institute and has provided training in the foundations of cognitive therapy, cognitive therapy for borderline personality disorder and cognitive therapy for anxiety disorders. In addition to her work at UPenn and the Beck Institute, she works in private practice, where she primarily treats individuals with borderline personality disorder.
