Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Broder is a licensed clinical psychologist on staff at Beck Institute. In addition to treating adults with a wide range of mental health conditions, Dr. Broder gives workshops in cognitive behavior therapy for treatment of depression, suicide prevention and disordered eating, as well as other topics pertinent to clinical practice. Dr. Broder earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where she was the recipient of the award for Advocacy, Leadership and Service. During her doctoral studies, she focused her research on predictors of weight loss following bariatric surgery. Dr. Broder completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center and a post-doctoral residency at the Beck Institute. Dr. Broder conducts individual and group consultation and supervision for clinicians interested in improving their skills in cognitive behavior therapy and has published in the field of eating disorders, and other clinical topics in applied psychology.
