Clinical Consultant, Center for Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy
Lindsey Pinto is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who received her Master of Social Work degree from Simmons University, where she focused her training on implementing evidence-based treatment for adults involved in the justice system and those struggling with serious mental health challenges. She completed her master’s degree internship program at the Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts, and at the Massachusetts Correctional Institute for women in Framingham, Massachusetts.
Prior to joining Beck Institute, Lindsey worked for the Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) conducting comprehensive evaluations for individuals receiving treatment at Norristown State Hospital (NSH), or while incarcerated at the Philadelphia Department of Prisons (PDP). Lindsey’s interests include utilizing Recovery-Oriented Cognitive therapy in forensic settings and throughout justice systems.
