Founder of CBTiSTANBUL

Dr. Stroup received her PsyD in clinical psychology from Alliant International University in San Diego, California.

She is licensed to practice in California, is board certified in clinical psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology, and is a Beck Institute CBT Certified Clinician. She is a member of the American and Turkish psychology associations. She served as an individual investigator, based in Turkey, for the field trials of the DSM-5.

Dr. Stroup is the founder of CBTiSTANBUL, dedicated to the practice, study, and promotion of Beckian Cognitive Therapy.  She provides workshops and supervision in cognitive therapy for Turkish speaking psychotherapists from around the world. She has also served on the faculty of masters- and doctoral-level programs in local universities.

Dr. Stroup’s practice focuses on adults and young adults, and her areas of specialty are obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders, depression, illness anxiety disorder, and trauma.
