Elisa Nebolsine is a therapist, teacher, and author of The Kid’s Grit Workbook and Your Amazing Teen Brain.  Elisa’s Alexandria, Virginia practice primarily focuses on youth and young adults with anxiety and mood disorders. 

In addition to her work with Beck Institute, Elisa serves as adjunct faculty at the at Catholic University’s graduate school of social work.  Elisa teaches and consults on cognitive behavioral therapy and clinical practice with children, adolescents and adults both locally and nationally.

Elisa earned her master’s degree in clinical social work from Smith College, and she has been working with kids, teens, and young adults for the past twenty five years.  She has been featured in publications ranging from the Atlantic to NPR, and has been named a Washingtonian (DC) “Top Therapist” in multiple categories.
