Improve your teaching and supervisory skills in Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
Led by expert Beck Institute faculty member Donna Sudak, MD, this experiential workshop covers cognitive behavior therapy for mental health professionals who teach and supervise mental health professionals in CBT. Participants will learn how to identify key learning needs and micro skills for CBT training, and how to effectively provide feedback to students and trainees.
Topics include how to adapt teaching to adult learners, how and why to use multiple modalities to enhance teaching and training, developing learning exercises for the core competencies in CBT, methods of evaluation in supervision, the importance of deliberate practice with feedback, how to address problems in supervision, and enhancing students’ professional development as CBT clinicians.
This workshop will be held as a live training over Zoom. Please download the latest version of Zoom Client for Meetings and view the technical requirements prior to the workshop.
