Director of Clinical Training and Education, Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy Programs
Dr. Inverso is a licensed psychologist and subject-matter expert in Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy (CT-R). She provides training and consultation to mental health care providers in CT-R for individuals with serious mental health conditions. Along with her colleagues, Dr. Inverso is involved in efforts to infuse recovery into large systems of care and has developed innovative and transformative strategies for implementing CT-R on inpatient psychiatric units, in community residences and forensic facilities, and on assertive community treatment (ACT) teams. The aim of her work is to energize treatment milieus, foster connection and collaboration between staff and those served, and help invigorate the recovery aspirations of individuals. Dr. Inverso is currently the Director of Clinical Training at the Aaron Beck Center and provides clinical training and supervision for predoctoral interns, postdoctoral fellows, and postmasters LPC candidates. She is a co-author of the forthcoming book Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy for Schizophrenia.
