On November 6th and November 7th, Dr. Judith Beck presented at the Nordic Conference on Mental Health, Scandinavia’s largest and longest-running annual mental health conference. Over 5,000 participants gathered in Stavanger, Norway, where Dr. Beck delivered a one-day seminar, a keynote, and a workshop. A story in psykologisk.no, the premier online mental health portal in Norway, recaps the content of her talks.
On November 8th, the Dutch group De Vereniging voor Gedrags en Cognitieve therapieën (Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies) hosted Dr. Judith Beck at their Autumn Congress in Veldhoven, The Netherlands. In addition to presenting a keynote address, she was pleased to have been awarded an honorary membership in the sponsoring organization, known as the VGCT. Prior to her appearances, she gave an interview for the congress bulletin, which will be reprinted in the Dutch magazine GZ-psychologie, wherein she discusses the important role of the therapeutic relationship in CBT.
