I’d like to share some exciting news: Beck Institute is hiring!
We are hiring for two new positions at Beck Institute: an Assistant Director of CBT Programs and a new clinician/supervisor/educator. The first will be overseeing our clinic and training program teams under the direction of our CBT Programs Director, Dr. Allen Miller. The second will be a part of our incredible team of clinicians, making a difference with our patients, trainees, and organizational clients.
In the time that the Beck Institute team has been working remotely due to the pandemic, our organization has been undergoing an enormous transformation. We left our office to work from home in mid-March 2020. We immediately moved all of our in-person workshops to an online format, which not only allowed us to continue to provide essential training for health and mental health professionals during this time of increased need, but also enabled us to offer these trainings at a reduced rate and increase accessibility to CBT as taught at Beck Institute.
The enthusiastic participation from our community has been outstanding. We have more than doubled the number of trainees who participated in a BI workshop this year over last year, and we are working hard to maintain a very robust virtual workshop schedule in the future. We have also been hard at work as a team to improve the offerings that underpin our Certification and other training programs for individuals and organizations
Even in the advent of a coronavirus vaccine, and further improvements to our safety, Beck Institute will continue to grow our programs and services to meet the rising mental health crisis. We feel, without question, a compelling commitment to our mission, and as a result, continue to innovate and expand to reach as many professionals as possible. The hires, along with the others we make in 2021, will join a team of good-hearted, well-qualified people to make our difference in the world.
