First he will present CBT theory and treatment strategies for anxiety disorders in general. Then he will focus on specific disorders: Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Participants will learn how to do cognitive restructuring, set up behavioral experiments, make exposure exercises more effective, and incorporate mindfulness-based strategies into treatment. The workshop will include lecture, discussion of cases, videos, role-playing, and experiential exercises.
