Vicki Gluhoski, PhD, is on the faculty of Mount Sinai Health System’s Program in Global Mental Health at the Icahn School of Medicine in New York City. She created and led Mount Sinai Beth Israel’s CBT program for over a decade. Her current work in global mental health focuses on the development, implementation, and sustainability of CBT treatment and training in Liberia. This work is in partnership with the Jimmy Carter Center and Liberian Ministry of Health. In addition, she and her colleagues are engaging psychiatry residents in this project, as well as expanding their model to other low resource countries.
