Sunil Bhar is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. He is the Head of the Department of Psychological Sciences and the Director of the Wellbeing Clinic for Older Adults. He runs an active research lab focusing on the emotional well being of older adults and the mechanisms of reminiscence and cognitive-behavioral therapies. He completed his postdoctoral training over four years under Dr Aaron Beck at the University of Pennsylvania. Since returning to Australia, he has won over one million dollars in federal funding to investigate the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy for older adults living in residential aged care settings.
