Amy Wenzel, Ph.D., ABPP is a Beck Institute adjunct faculty member and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, where she conducts research and writes treatment manuals in collaboration with Aaron T. Beck. She is the author or editor of 17 books, approximately 100 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, and has five forthcoming books or series. She provides training, consultation, and supervision in CBT and she maintains a clinical practice, where she delivers CBT for a wide range of clinical presentations. Dr. Wenzel has also made several videos for the American Psychological Association. Her research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and the Brain and Behavior Foundation. She is a consultant for the Academy of Cognitive Therapy and a member of the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, as well as a number of other professional organizations.
